Relationship with Shopify

The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal data about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve them. Information you submit to the Services will be transmitted to and shared with Shopify, as well as third parties that may be located in countries other than where you live. We also use certain Shopify enhanced features that draw on data obtained from your interactions with our store, with other merchants and with Shopify. In those circumstances Shopify is responsible for the processing of your personal data, including responding to your requests to exercise your rights. For more information, see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.

Cookies

Like many websites, we use cookies on our Site. For specific information about the cookies we use in connection with powering our store with Shopify, see https://www.shopify.com/legal/cookies. We use cookies to operate and improve the Site and the Services (including to remember your actions and preferences), to conduct analytics and to better understand user interaction with the Services. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the Site works.

Our Site may contain links to websites or other online platforms operated by third parties. If you follow links to sites not affiliated with or controlled by us, you should review their privacy and security policies and other terms. We do not guarantee and are not responsible for the privacy or security of such sites. Information you share on public or semi-public platforms, including third-party social networks, may be viewed by other users without restriction.

Children and Privacy

The Services are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of majority in their jurisdiction. If you are a parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with their personal data, you may contact us at info@resilea.store to request that it be deleted.

Data Security and Retention

No security measure is perfect, and we cannot guarantee "perfect security". Information you send to us may not be secure in transit, so we recommend not using insecure channels to send us sensitive or confidential information.

How long we retain your personal data depends on factors such as whether we need it to maintain your account, provide the Services, comply with legal obligations (including tax and accounting rules), resolve disputes or enforce our contracts and policies.

International Transfers

We may transfer, store and process your personal data outside the country where you live, including in the United States. When we transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or an adequacy decision for the destination country.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal data. These rights are not absolute, may apply only in certain circumstances, and we may decline a request where permitted by law.

  • Right of access: to request access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to deletion: to request that we delete the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to correction: to request that we correct inaccurate personal data.
  • Right to portability: to receive a copy of your personal data and, in certain circumstances, to have it transferred to a third party.
  • Right to opt out of targeted advertising, sale or sharing: depending on where you live, you may opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal data or its use for "targeted advertising" as defined by applicable privacy law. If you visit our Site with the Global Privacy Control signal enabled, we treat it as an opt-out request for that device and browser.
  • Managing communication preferences: you can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails. We may still send you non-promotional emails about your account or orders.

If you live in the EEA or the United Kingdom, you additionally have the right to object to or restrict processing of your personal data for certain purposes, and the right to withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@resilea.store. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. You may designate an authorised agent to make requests on your behalf; we will require proof of that authorisation. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about how we process your personal data, please contact us at info@resilea.store. Depending on where you live, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. For the EEA, a list of supervisory authorities is available here.
